You can now filter the videos in the RAM video archive by tournament, skill division, age bracket, tournament round, and player name. And we’ve got some really good matches in the archive, so make sure you check them out.

* New RAM YouTube Page
We’ve created a YouTube page for RAM and moved all of the videos over to it. If you watched any of the videos previously, the urls have or will be changing soon. Sorry about that — won’t happen again. (Promise.) The url for the new YouTube page is http://www.youtube.com/user/ramracquetball  Bookmark it. Subscribe. Recommend to your pals.

The 2014 State Singles Championships are in the books!

Thanks to everyone who participated and helped make the tournament, the Hall of Fame reception, and the Merit Awards and Hall of Banquet a success.

If you haven’t yet done so, please take our State Singles Survey. Your feedback will help us decide how we should allocate our resources for the upcoming 2014-2015 season.

2014 Merit Awards and Hall of Fame Banquet

Everyone in the RAM extended family is invited (and encouraged!) to attend the 2014 Merit Awards and Hall of Fame Banquet, which will be held on the evening of Saturday, March 29 at the Davison Athletic Club.

2014 RAM Hall of Fame Inductees Randy Anderson, Bob Gravelyn, and Twayne Howard

This year is the 30th anniversary of the RAM Hall of Fame, and we have a fun evening of friends, laughter, and memories planned for our guests. Randy Anderson and Bob Gravelyn will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for their excellence on the court, and Twayne Howard will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for his service to the organization.

Those who play in the State Singles Championships can add a ticket for the banquet to their R2 registration for just $10. Banquet tickets for non-players and guests are $35.

In addition to celebrating all of our RAM Hall of Famers, the banquet will also feature our Juniors and our 2014 Merit Award winners. The Merit Award categories include:

    • Club / Owner of the Year
    • Female Player of the Year
    • Junior of the Year
    • Male Player of the Year
    • Most Improved Junior Player
    • Most Improved Player
    • Sportsperson of the Year
    • Tournament Directors of the Year

We are still accepting Merit Award nominations, so please email Twayne if you’d like to see someone recognized.

RAM Ambassador Program

racquetballWe are happy to introduce the new RAM Ambassador Program.

The RAM Ambassador Program rewards those who support and advance the sport of racquetball in Michigan. Ambassadors earn points for their activities that can then be redeemed for items such a free pass into the RAM Annual Awards Banquet, a free entry into the RAM State Singles Tournament, and even a free one-year USA Racquetball membership.
